My current career objective is to work in the field of addictions and I hope to work directly with individuals seeking substance abuse treatment. Although it has recently been announced that addiction is a brain disorder rather than a behavioral issue, there is still argument that drug use is a choice and not a disease. I want to contribute to the substance abuse population because I feel the stigma that surrounds recovering addicts does not accurately portray the strength and positivity that comes from the recovery process. I want to be a part of empowering these individuals to put the pieces of their life back together. My future career objective is to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and provide therapeutic services in the emerging market of FARR certified recovery residences. I advocate the importance of recovery residences and want to bring clinical services to all levels to promote the health and well-being of individuals every step of the way on their journey through recovery. My ultimate career objective is to open a non-profit organization that will promote awareness of health and healthy eating in residential substance abuse treatment centers. A big part of what my non-profit will do will be helping people improve their lives by teaching them how to take care of themselves from the inside out. Blackberry10 SDK The BlackBerry 10 WebWorks SDK offers support for developing applications for the BlackBerry 10 OS. 2. 5 HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS The hardware requirement for this application is the newest Blackberry z10. The BlackBerry Z10 is a 4G touchscreen-based smartphone developed by BlackBerry, previously known as RIM. The BlackBerry Z10 is the first of two new BlackBerry phones presented at the BlackBerry 10 event. Choosing a BlackBerry Z10 doesn’t look as harebrained as before. BlackBerry World (previously BlackBerry App World) is an application distribution service and application by BlackBerry Ltd, for a majority of BlackBerry devices. The service provides BlackBerry users with an environment to browse, download, and update third-party applications. It is where we uploaded our mobile application. In the second semester this application can be implemented for Android Smartphones, OS like Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich. 2. PROJECT DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT The homepage of the mobile application can be seen at Figure 6. It has the photos and information’s about Jade Hotel. As you can see there is a Home button on the left side, as you click on this button it will pop up the Gallery, Location, Room and Rates, Reservation, and the Feedback. On Figure 7. This is the Gallery in which the user could see different images/photos of the facilities that can be seen inside and outside of the Jade hotel. Next feature of this application is the Location that can be seen at Figure 8. The location consist of a map in which it automatically detect where the user is and as you click on the Get Directions button it will give a path on how to go to our target destination #45 Magsaysay drive, 2200 Olongapo City, Philippines which Jade Hotel is located. On Figure 9. The Room and Rates this shows general information about the Types of the Room, Prices and Photos of each Rooms. Then the main ingredient of our application is the Reservation that can be seen at Figure 10. Reserving a Room has a four process. First, the user need to choose or pick the date of the Arrival and Departure Time, as the user pick the Date the user need to tap the Check Availability the it will show the different types of room. Person per room, Rate for 1 night and then the user need to choose or select a room(s). After that the user need to tap the button Book Now. Second, is the Reservation Details. This is where the users fill up necessary information’s about them such as First Name, Last Name, Email Address, etc. Third, the Summary. This is where you can see the Summary Details about the user and It will indicate Type of Payment it’s either the Credit Card or PayPal. Lastly, the Fourth Step the Confirmation. It will show the detail of the user and the detail about the payment. Another Function of this application is the Feedback that can be seen at Figure 11. CONCLUSION Based on the research and literature reviewed for this study, it is clear that the rising trend of mobile and smartphone technologies have impacted the relationship between hotel brands and consumers. Evidence shows that the drivers of mobile technology can help fortify customer relationships, thus rejecting the first question posed that mobile technology has made it more challenging for hotel brands to connect with their consumers. This study also captured the influencers that affect consumers adoption of mobile technology. It appears that the unique nature of mobile technology can increase consumer usage. As usage increases, businesses now have the opportunity to establish and strengthen relationships with their customers through this medium. This supports the answer to the second question posed: hotel bands that adopt mobile technology are able to form a much closer relationship with their consumers than hotel brands that have not adopted mobile technology. 4. Heading off to the University of Southern California? You should already have your roommate and dorm set up, but lets give you a quick overview of the rest of freshman campus.USC’s system of matching roommates and assigning housing for incoming freshmen is a bit complicated. After applying to USC—but before getting accepted or denied admission— high school seniors receive an email from the school asking them to create a profile and register on a special site created just for roommate matching and housing distribution purposes. The actual process of deciding these things doesn’t happen for months after this initial email goes out, of course: the school has to wait to see exactly which applicants will comprise the next fall’s incoming class first, which takes place after May 1st, the typical deadline for students to decide on a college. But at that time, the students who registered online first are given top priority when it comes to which building th ey’re placed in, whereas those who waited to receive an admissions decision before registering are later in the queue, and sometimes get stuck with building they didn’t even list as one of their preferred options. Although there are exceptions, most freshmen live in one of the following buildings, and the pros/cons of each are as follows: New/NorthNew and North are actually two connected complexes, this enormous dorm is the â€Å"party dorm† of campus—and for a reason! Most residents go Greek, and it’s usually pretty loud and rowdy (not to mention constantly dirty) even on weekdays. Few people who live in New/North study in their rooms: it’s just not possible with the open-door, social atmosphere. While this does make getting schoolwork done a challenge, this dorm does have plenty of advantages: it’s easy to make friends, a lot of fun, and in a prime location, located just above the dining hall and 24/7 on-campus Starbucks, and less than five minutes’ walk from the library and most of the classroom buildings on campus. PardeeDespite the name, Pardee Tower has less of a party atmosphere than New/North, due in part to the fact that each floor is single-sex. Pardee is a fairly popular housing choice because it’s social enough to make friends (people usually get pretty close to their hallmates) while being quiet enough to get work done. Marks Tower and Trojan HallThese two buildings, along with New/North and Pardee, comprise the â€Å"south side† of freshman housing, which are all typical dorms: that is, there are long corridors with rooms on either side, communal bathrooms, and minimalistic rooms, with no living area or kitchen to speak of. But these buildings are always the last to fill up, because they are the oldest, least spacious, least social, and in the worst location. Those who register for housing late get stuck with Marks or Trojan. Webb and Fluor TowerThese buildings are different from the preceding ones in that they have apartment-style housing. Each apartment has four double-occupancy bedrooms, and the 8 residents who live there share a kitchen, living room, and two bathrooms. This makes for a different vibe than traditional dorms, but some prefer that— it just depends on the kinds of social atmosphere you prefer. Both towers are located adjacent to a dining hall and the gym. Parkside and IRCThese are also apartment-style complexes, but aren’t in a good location unless you’re an engineering student (as they’re near the engineering wing). IRC is international student housing, although some domestic students do live there. These apartments are known for being nice and spacious—they have hardwood floors and air conditioning! — and very quiet. That’s the lowdown on freshman housing! With regards to roommate matching, there is a standard questionnaire distributed to all freshmen, which is used to match each student with a random roommate who has similar living habits/interests, etc. The other option, which many students use, is to find a compatible roommate on their own (using social media groups, independent roommate matching sites, and other means), who they can then request to be matched with on the housing website mentioned above.
